(Blepharoplasty with obstructed vision)
(Floppy Eyelid Syndrome)
When the upper eyelid skin covers the eyelashes with the forehead relaxed, it obstructs your vision. When the vision is obstructed, many medical insurance plans will cover this procedure. Insurance plans determine if the procedure is covered based upon patient complaint documentation, photographs and visual field testing. The procedure is complete when excess skin is reduced with the incision hidden in the eyelid crease.
