Lower eyelid blepharoplasty is a delicate procedure. Retracted (pulled downward) lower eyelids show the white beneath the colored iris of the eyes and the outer canthal angle is lowered. The result is dryness, burning, scratchiness, redness. Our reconstruction includes elevating the cheeks, lateral canthopexy and the placement of morselized cartilage grafts in the lower eyelids. The result? Improved appearance, a youthful and more rested look.
